Terra Incognita FAQ
What do the different ticketing prices mean?
We are offering sliding scale tickets ($10-$25). We encourage you to pay what you can. All ticket proceeds go directly to the participating artists.
Can I register and buy a ticket at the event?
No, due to space and time constraints, all tickets must be purchased online ahead of time. Those without advance reservations will be turned away.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind about attending?
All sales are final, no refunds will be given.
Can I stay longer than 90 min?
No, we have a very limited capacity. In order to give everyone an opportunity to experience the exhibition guests must leave at the end of their 90 min block.
Where do I park my car at the event?
As you approach the address, you will see orange cones and a parking attendant in a yellow vest. Please slow down and turn on your hazards as you pass through the blinking yellow lights just before approaching the property. You will be directed to pull into the second driveway on the right just past the weeping willow tree. After you pull in another attendant will direct you to your space. The last two cars to arrive will be directed to park on the shoulder in front of the property. View the parking map here.
Can I smoke?
No smoking of any kind is permitted on the property
Can I bring my dog?
No, we cannot have animals on the property. The only exception is certified service animals.
Are children allowed?
Yes, kids love the property and we encourage them to learn about art and performance.
Is there a bathroom?
Yes, we do have a bathroom available on site. We are on a septic system so only TP can be put into the toilet.
Can I purchase any of the artwork?
Absolutely, if you visit the artist pages you will find their website and contact info. Most of the artists have work for sale and or can be commissioned.
How should I dress?
This is a self-guided exhibition over uneven/rough terrain through sloped gardens and open field, as well as wooded trail areas near a creek and other hidden treasures. It is not ADA-accessible. With this in mind, PLEASE WEAR SENSIBLE, STURDY SHOES (sneakers, hiking shoes or boots highly recommended). Please also note that although there is plenty of shade, there are several exposed areas, so bring sun coverings, sunscreen, and/or hats accordingly.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, insect repellent, water, and your camera.
Will there be food or drink available?
We will have an honor system beverage station available. We recommend checking out Sugar Pine, Troutdale Station, or Edgefield for great food in the area.
Will any of the artists be on site?
Yes, many of the artists, as well as the curators, will be on-site during the event.
Can I take pictures/videos?
Absolutely, we encourage photographs and video. If you share these online please be sure to credit the artist and mention The Verdancy Project #TVPTerraincognita
