The Verdancy Project – Troutdale, OR
Discover the enchanting world of lumen printing in the serene setting of The Verdancy Project. Wander through the picturesque grounds, collecting botanical specimens to create your own stunning and ethereal color prints. In this hands-on workshop, you'll master the art of lumen printing—a cameraless photographic technique—and leave with a collection of unique prints and the knowledge to continue this creative process on your own.
Lumen prints are solar photograms made without a camera, using black and white photographic paper, organic materials, and sunlight or another UV source. Each print is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, showcasing a remarkable spectrum of images that range from representational to abstract, celebrating the diverse beauty of nature.
This workshop is open to participants aged 9 and up, and welcomes all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you'll find inspiration and joy in this unique photographic experience.
This in-person workshop will be taking place outside under a tent or in a shaded area.
